• Determining the contributions of each food item towards meeting meal pattern requirements.

The FBG stands as an indispensable reference for food yield information across all CNPs. This data assists in converting the purchased amount of food (by weight or volume) into the post-preparation form served as part of a reimbursable meal.

The FBG Mobile App offers numerous time-saving utilities for users, including:

• Effortless browsing and exploration of food yields for over 2,100 items typically found in CNP environments.
• Comparisons of food yields to help make informed purchasing decisions.
• Creation of personalized lists for easy saving and future access.
• Capability to email and print search findings, comparisons, and favorites.
• Developing shopping lists to streamline food ordering and procurement processes.
• Determining the grains contribution and the necessary amount to serve in order to achieve a desired grains contribution for a specific grain product listed on Exhibit.
• Searching for a specific grain product (as listed on Exhibit A) and inputting the serving size from the product label to ascertain: 1) the precise grains contribution, 2) the quantity required to meet the desired grains contribution, and 3) the serving amount to fulfill the minimum grains requirement based on age group/grade group guidelines for a particular CNP.
